How much is the sea plane?

The return flight rates are​ ​USD 700 ++ per adult (12 years and above)​ USD 350 ++ per child (ages 2 to 11)​ ​Rates are subject to 10% Service Charge and 16% GST and may change without prior notice.​

Would there be a language problem?

We have a multilingual team on the island who will take care of your every requirement.

How do I book the sea plane?

How do I get to the seaplane lounge?

Our airport team will escort guests to our private lounge.

How long is the wait time at the lounge?

The waiting time at our lounge is between 1-2 hours.

How far is the Intercontinental Maldives from airport?

InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort is located on the outskirts of Raa Atoll and can be reached by seaplane in 35 minutes.

How would I identify the person i am supposed to meet?

Our airport team will welcome you at the arrival gates with a tablet showing the InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort logo.

What is the dress code while at the resort?

Can my children stay in the room for free?

Children under 2 years stay for free although green tax (USD 6 per guest, per day) is chargeable. Children between the ages of 2 – 12 years stay and eat for free (on their parents meal plan), green tax and seaplane fare charges apply. Any guest age 12 and above is considered adult and charges apply accordingly.

Do you charge for cancellations?

Yes, the amount will be depending on the terms and conditions of each individual booking

Is there a minimum night stay policy at Intercontinental Maldives?

Yes, during Christmas and New Year festive period.

How do I pay? And which method of payments are acceptable?

We accept cash, credit cards [Visa, Master, Amex, and Union Pay], pre-payments via online payment links, and bank wire transfers.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Our standard check-in time is 02.00pm and check-out time is 12.00pm.

What kind of electrical sockets are provided in the room?

We have in-built British three pin sockets in all of our villas. For additional support to our guests, we offer adaptors on request.

Is there a library?

Yes, there is a library in The Retreat, an adult-only outlet and a selection of books is provided in the Collective as well.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, all guest villas and residences have an in-built safe for guest use.

Are babysitting services available?

Yes, we offer babysitting services with an additional charge.

Does the resort provide beach towels?

Yes, we offer beach towels in every villa, at Café Umi beach and at The Retreat.

Does Intercontinental Maldives cater for special dietary requests?

Yes, we encourage guests to share their dietary requirements ahead of arrival, but are also able to accommodate the common dietary requirements once on site.

The best time to visit Maldives is between January to May and October to December.

What do I require to visit Maldives?

The basic entry requirements are as follows; A passport or a travel document with Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) with at least 1 month's validity.

Do I need to present the PCR test result?
