The surf program is managed by the Perfect Wave with a team of highly qualified instructors to offer coaching and guidance for novice surfers looking to pick up a new skill to the more experienced surfers. Surfing pricing and packages are available upon request
There are a variety of surf breaks around InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort which are suitable for everyone and easily accessible by speedboat. From an introduction to surfing conducted in the lagoon to half day adventures surfing some of Maldives’ unexplored reef breaks around the Baa Atoll and the Raa Atoll, our surfing program offers something for everyone no matter your proficiency.
For our younger guests, surf camps are on offer designed for children who want to learn all the safety aspects of surfing in a fun and enjoyable environment in the comfort of our lagoon. A surfing certificate will be awarded at the end of the course. For children who are older and more confident swimming in deeper water, our “Kids Pro Surf Camp” will teach them the basics of paddling and water safety before they ride actual waves in a fun and safe environment under the watchful eye of our surf coach.
