NINA BROOKE’S CREATIVE JOURNEY AT INTERCONTINENTAL MALDIVES

Inspired by lapping waves and idyllic shores across the world’s most tropical destinations, luxury seascape artist Nina Brooke is coming to InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort this November.

This November, we are excited to welcome the renowned luxury seascape artist, Nina Brooke to InterContinental Maldives. Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic lapping waves and picturesque shores of the world's most tropical destinations, Nina will be hosting relaxed art workshops for guests and undertaking individual commissions.

The acclaimed British artist Nina Brooke hails from the ocean-flanked corners of Cornwall. When not capturing the English coastline, she traverses the globe, seeking inspiration for her art, with destinations ranging from the Maldives and Sri Lanka to Costa Rica. Her residency on our island promises to add a unique and captivating artistic dimension to the resort's already spectacular surroundings.

The culmination of her artistic residency will be marked by an exclusive art exhibition on our island, showcasing her latest creations. Our guests are to be invited to wander through the exhibition, sipping and searching for a unique souvenir to commemorate their stay.

InterContinental Maldives occupy a privileged position on the edge of a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve near a juvenile manta ray aggregation spot. Committed to sustainability, our resort supports manta ray research and implements waste initiatives and recycling programs. As part of her residency, Nina Brooke will paint a unique piece dedicated to The Manta Trust, a long-standing partner of the luxury resort.

Nina will contribute dedicated artwork for the resort's in-villa designs. We eagerly anticipate the infusion of Nina's talent into our island's artistic landscape, aiming to capture the infinite ocean views, treasured marine life, and the surrounding nature from the air and ground.
